The Community Council for Somerset (CCS) Talking Cafes
Initially set up in Minehead, West Somerset Talking Cafes have now extended to 12 other venues across the County – it provides a new way to access support from multiple agencies working together. If you would like to find out more please get in touch:

May 2020 – Latest news about CCS online Talking Cafes
The Community Council for Somerset (CCS) are delighted to announce Talking Cafes are starting up again; not in the physical sense, as sadly venues are still closed, but you can access the same invaluable help and support from the comfort of your own home through a new Facebook Live stream beginning 14 May.
From May 18 CCS online Facebook Talking Cafes will be operating weekdays from 11am.
Each day the Talking Cafe will be hosted by district teams as follows:
- Monday – West Somerset
- Tuesday – Taunton
- Wednesday – Mendip
- Thursday – Sedgemoor
- Friday – South Somerset
Health Connections Mendip Talking Cafes
Health Connections Mendip Talking Cafés are informal get togethers held in public cafes. It is an opportunity to make new friends or talk to a Community Connector and find out about what is available in the community. Just drop in.
