My name is Claire and I have worked in the care sector for over 15 years. This has been with the elderly and with families and children with additional needs / disabilities.
I am DBS checked, have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, Full First Aid Training, the mandatory training required for a care setting, plus much more. I am happy to share these with you, so that you can be sure that I can meet all of your needs. I feel it is important to retrain regularly to make sure that I am as up to date on information as possible which then helps me, to help you.
I have worked in a variety of care homes over the years but have found that staff are not able to give 100% because of other commitments within the home.
Therefore, by working self-employed, I can give you my full attention. I like to provide a truly person-centred service where your needs are my main priority. Learning and listening to what’s important to you, and adapting my support when your needs change.
I can offer: Personal Care, Small Gardening Duties with or without you, Cooking & Preparing Meals, Palliative Care, Support to & from appointments, Small Cleaning Duties, Assistance with Shopping, Companionship, Help with Laundry and if you need me to take care of your dog I can do that too!
I am available to offer you care and support in whatever way works best for you and am happy to chat about how I can help.
