About Reminiscence Learning

Provide specialist training in three areas: (1) Wednesday sessions at the Counting House for the older person, those with memory problems or a dementia and their carers. Sessions include: Remembering Yesterday Caring Today (group reminiscence and carers support), Music and Memories, Tea Dances, Armchair Travel, Seasonal Activities, Singing and Drumming for Fun and West End comes to Wellington. (1) Dementia care, planning activities and reminiscence therapy. The training is available to private individuals, carers and volunteers as well as professionals. There is a charge for this training. (3) The Archie Project - an intergenerational dementia awareness project linking schools, care homes, businesses, services and the community, delivered in Taunton Deane and beyond.
